A Little About Me,
I am a lover of all science, technology, engineering, and math. (Good thing I teach STEM...) I love to learn and explore. I am a teacher and Mechanical Engineer that loves to teach young children about the world, what makes it work, and how to make it a better place for all. I want all my students to be inspired to learn and inquire about all they see and experience. Our children are our future, and it was this fact that inspire me to teach.
I am a lucky mom to two wonderful children. My husband is a great funny guy who makes us laugh everyday! We are all book lovers and love to watch cartoons and build fires outside and stargaze. My favorite books are Pride and Prejudice, The Little Prince, The Dreamer, Children of Blood and Bone, A Game of Thrones, Wings of Fire, SevenEves, and many more. My favorite show is Star Trek: The Next Generation. (Hi there, Captain Picard, sir!)
And I absolutely love chocolate!
I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and two Master's Degrees. (Yes! I love school!) I have worked in the engineering manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries for 20 years. I am a life long learner. In my classroom, I encourage all students to imagine and explore with a view of a limitless universe.
I am so pleased and honored to teach all my students and after years of experience working in and out of the classroom, I know I have the best job on earth!!! (Ok, maybe second to working for Starfleet Command!)
